Despite being one of Modern Warfare 3’s strongest assault rifles, it continues to be a dominant choice in Warzone. However, there are still some fans who have completely given up on it.
During the initial phase of Modern Warfare 3’s cycle with Warzone, the only viable guns were from MW3. While weapons from the previous game, Modern Warfare 2, were present, they did not inflict the same level of damage as the newer options.
Now, almost a year later, many of the MW2 weapons remain effective. In fact, some have replaced previously popular choices from Modern Warfare 3 due to nerfs.
An instance of this is the Holger 556, which held a strong position in the Warzone meta for a considerable period, causing some players to lose faith in it. However, after undergoing a series of nerfs and subsequent buffs, the assault rifle is once again gaining popularity.
The assault rifle has been praised by Warzone creators such as MrMarvelTV, who have specifically highlighted its effectiveness on both Urizkstan and Rebirth Island. According to MrMarvelTV in his August 31 video, the weapon has very little recoil and a high time-to-kill, making it a fun and powerful option to use in the game.
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: Belt-6 Match
- Optic: JAK Glassless
- Magazine: 40-round mag
- Stock: RB Addle Assault stock
The time recorded was 3:20.
The YouTuber also mentioned that there is an option to remove the JAK Glassless optic and replace it with an underbarrel attachment. However, the recoil does not require as much attention for control compared to other rifles.
Despite its success in topping the charts, the Holger has been largely overlooked. According to WZRanked stats, it currently ranks as the 40th most popular gun in Warzone. However, its capabilities far surpass this ranking and the Holger should definitely be on your radar if it isn’t already.
