Despite being a top option in Warzone again ahead of Season 5 Reloaded, one of Modern Warfare 3’s once-popular assault rifles has been completely overlooked by players.
Whenever a new seasonal update is launched by the Warzone developers, the game’s meta undergoes a shift. Popular weapons are either buffed or nerfed, causing some to lose their popularity while others gain traction.
During the previous season, the Holger 556 was considered one of the best choices. It was praised by Warzone experts for its fast killing capabilities and versatility in various game modes and play styles.
Despite being a crucial component of the meta in Seasons 2 and 3, the assault rifle’s effectiveness has significantly decreased due to recent nerfs. Nevertheless, it remains a top-rated option in the battle royale.
According to Warzone expert WhosImmortal, as discussed in his August 17 video, the Holger stands out as a top-performing weapon. Despite its limited magazine capacity, the gun boasts excellent control and damage. WhosImmortal also noted its “phenomenal”time-to-kill rate, making it a highly competitive option despite its smaller magazine size.
Of course, it would be ideal to increase the magazine capacity, but the only option available is a 40-round mag. However, this is the only attachment that may limit your customization options. The choice of using the JAK Glassless Optic by the YouTuber is purely based on personal preference, and you could also consider using the Nydar Model 2023 instead.
