Achieving Overkill in Warzone Post Black Ops 6 Integration Guide

With the recent integration of Black Ops 6 into Warzone, players are facing an adjustment as the Overkill perk is no longer applied by default. This shift has left many wondering how to effectively utilize two primary weapons in their loadouts.

The launch of Black Ops 6 has introduced a range of new features, including the innovative omnimovement system and an exciting variety of weapons. However, it has also fundamentally altered gameplay mechanics, particularly the removal of Overkill from all standard loadouts.

How to Equip Two Primary Weapons Using Overkill

Overkill is now categorized as a Wildcard that must be manually selected for your loadout. To access it, players must reach Level 24, necessitating a commitment to grinding through Battle Royale or multiplayer modes before it can be equipped.

Post-Season 1 update, Warzone has adopted many of the Perks and Wildcards found in Black Ops 6. As a result, Overkill is now treated similarly to its role in multiplayer, meaning players can only select it at the cost of giving up Gunfighter, which allows for eight attachments.

It’s important to note that with the introduction of a classic progression system, players will lose access to Overkill every time they Prestige. For those who are keen on maintaining this perk, utilizing a Prestige token to unlock it permanently is an available option.

This change brings crucial decisions to the forefront when constructing your loadout. You will have to weigh whether to equip two primary weapons for varied combat scenarios, or to use a secondary weapon like a Pistol, which could allow for additional attachments through Gunfighter or offer tactical advantages such as a free UAV with Battle Ready.

While the adjustment may be challenging for players who prefer a Sniper Rifle paired with an SMG to handle diverse engagements, it ultimately encourages gamers to refine their playstyle to align with their chosen firearms.
