
On February 26, Lee Chae-young engaged with her fans through her Instagram Story, sharing insights into her recent experiences and challenges.
Responding to a heartfelt fan message expressing concern—”Chae-young, please stop traveling and get back to work. I miss you” —she opened up about her current state.

Lee candidly explained, “In 2023, I overworked myself, taking on too many projects, which led to minor illnesses in both my body and mind.” Acknowledging her need for a break, she shared, “So last year, I completed just my pre-scheduled work and took a step back from the programs I was involved in to prioritize personal time. It was through this hiatus that I realized health and happiness are invaluable in life.”

She reassured her followers, stating, “I am cherishing my life. Although I may not be visible right now, I am diligently navigating various aspects of my life. I hope for your understanding during this time.”
Reflecting on her travels during this period, Lee expressed, “I realized that the path of life is expansive.” When fans sought her travel recommendations, she suggested, “Choose destinations that resonate with your passions. Personally, I adore Guy de Maupassant, so I visited Paris; I also fell in love with jazz, which drew me to New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz.”

Lee Chae-young made her acting debut in the 2007 drama “Witch Yoo Hee” and has since appeared in various successful productions, including “Wife Returns, ””My Strange Hero, ””Home for Summer, ””Man in a Veil, ”and “Woman in a Veil.”
In January of the previous year, she stepped down from her regular role on SBS’s variety show “Kick a Goal” and has since reduced her public appearances significantly.
