Actress Lim Ji-yeon Shares Heartwarming Encounter with Song Hye-kyo at ‘Revolver’ VIP Preview

On August 1st, in the afternoon, Lim Ji-yeon conducted an interview at a café located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, in anticipation of the release of the film “Revolver”(directed by Oh Seung-wook).

“The film “Revolver”follows the journey of Soo-young (portrayed by Jeon Do-yeon), a former police officer who was wrongly imprisoned. Upon her release, she becomes determined to achieve one specific goal.”

The film “Revolver”has been receiving considerable buzz due to its pairing of Cannes darling Jeon Do-yeon and rising star Lim Ji-yeon, known for her acclaimed performances in Netflix’s “The Glory”and the drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden.”

Lim Ji-yeon brings to life the enigmatic character of nightclub madam Jung Yoon-sun in the movie “Revolver”. As the first person Soo-young encounters upon her release from prison, Yoon-sun’s light smile and intriguing charm keep viewers guessing whether she is a friend or foe. The dynamic between Soo-young and Yoon-sun, who seem to be complete opposites, has received acclaim for their captivating “womance”chemistry.

During the VIP preview of “Revolver”on July 31st, actress Song Hye-kyo, known for her role in Netflix’s series “The Glory”, attended and showed her unwavering support for the film, drawing attention from the audience.

Lim Ji-yeon was grateful when Hye-kyo unnie wrote her a heartfelt letter and gave her flowers during the stage greeting before the preview ended. She was deeply touched and even read the letter while still feeling the effects of the after-party, becoming emotional and tearing up.
