Nonetheless, she conveyed her wish to be a part of SNSD instead of opting for a new and inexperienced team. Ji elaborated:

“When I was in the first year of high school, I really liked Girls’ Generation. I graduated from middle and high school and my dream at the time was to become a member of Girls’ Generation. I had strange thoughts back then.

It’s not that I’m pushing anyone out, but my dream was to become the 10th member of Girls’ Generation. Super Junior did it, too. It was just a little girl’s dream.”

During the interview, she was inquired about her potential relationships with the other members of Girls’ Generation if she were to join the group. In response, she stated:

“I didn’t have a plan. I just wanted to be close to everyone. If I were to become the youngest, I would be the youngest. I wanted to be close with the sisters as the youngest. I’m a fan, so I thought I would be so happy.”

Ye Eun clarified that she does not have a single favorite member, as she has a bias for each music era and holds a deep admiration for all nine original members.

“I can’t choose. Girls’ Generation is complete when they’re together. I liked different sisters for each album. I liked Tiffany for ‘Into the New World,’ Yuri for ‘Genie,’ and Yoona for ‘Oh!’”

Despite Ye Eun’s strong desire, she was unable to fulfill her wish due to several reasons. One being that SNSD did not actively seek out an additional member like Super Junior.

“However, unfortunately, Girls’ Generation didn’t have any additional recruitment notices, so I didn’t even have a chance to apply.”

Furthermore, she reprimanded herself by stating:

“And I can’t dance. I thought I was a good dancer, but I’m a frog in a well. I went to a dance academy, and everyone was so good at dancing. That’s when I realized.”

At the same time, Ji Ye Eun was born in 1994, while Seohyun, the youngest member of SNSD, was born in 1991. Despite her original aspirations not coming to fruition, Ye Eun pursued a career in acting and gained recognition for her roles in productions such as “HOW-TO”and “Yellow.”

She is renowned for her entertaining roles in various programs, such as “The Ultimate Watchlist,””Saturday Night Live Korea,”and “Midnight Horror Story 4.”
