Actress Song Hye-kyo’s Diet Plan for Losing 17kg Revealed

Screenwriter Kim Eun-sook envisioned scenes that highlighted Moon Dong-eun’s emotional scars and inquired if Song Hye-kyo could reduce her weight further for a more fragile appearance. In response, Song Hye-kyo asked for a two-month preparation period and commenced a diet focused on konjac rice.

She ultimately adopted this dietary regime, highlighting konjac rice as her main food choice.

Konjac rice is recognized for its low calorie content and its ability to promote a feeling of fullness, which aids in weight loss. However, overindulgence can trigger digestive issues and result in a lack of essential nutrients, so moderation is vital.

Previously, Song Hye-kyo managed to decrease her weight by 17 kg following a tofu-only diet.

For a period of three months, while she enjoyed standard meals for breakfast and lunch, she opted for tofu at dinner.

She would prepare the tofu gently, serving it with minimal seasoning, akin to a salad. Moreover, she ensured that her dinner was completed before 7 PM and made a habit of consuming only 80% of her typical portion sizes.

When it comes to physical activity, she did not adhere to a specific exercise regimen.

Reports suggest that during her time overseas, simple walking contributed to her weight loss, and she is well-known for taking her dog on regular walks. While dieting, she would sometimes walk for up to four hours a day.

Walking, being adaptable to any situation or location, proved to be a beneficial way for her to maintain her weight over time.
