Added Augments, Spring Breakout Event, Superlevel Designs, and More in Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 4 (Update v24.10)

Loopers have been patiently waiting for the first major update to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, and it has finally arrived with a slew of new stuff to spice up the action. With Easter quickly approaching, the community has been buzzing about the possibility of an Easter-themed event in the game.

However, recent rumors indicate that the update will contain a lot of new quests and Easter-themed goods. There will also be five new Augments, the reintroduction of iconic Battle Royale weapons, and the unveiling of superlevel skins in the Battle Pass. Without further ado, here are the patch notes for Fortnite version v24.10, which is available now.

1) Spring Breakout Event

The game’s next v24.10 patch will contain a whole new Easter-themed questline called the Spring Breakout event. To advance in this event, players must use Easter-themed products such as the Egg Launcher, Chicken Eggs, and Spring Chickens. After completing the challenge, players can receive up to six free gifts in their Fortnite locker.

An official trailer was also leaked, detailing vital event details and showing players employing Egg Launchers on the most recent Chapter 4 Season 2 island. The Spring Breakout event and its accompanying content will be available in-game until April 11, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

2) New Augments

The game will receive five new Augments in the upcoming v24.10 release. Some of these Augments are permanent, while others are available only during the Spring Breakout event (similar to the ones added during the Most Wanted event).

The most recent additions are as follows:

  • Springtime Blowout
  • Game Time
  • Go for Broke
  • Rail Warrior
  • Aquatic Warrior

Among of the classic Fortnite goods included in the five forthcoming Augments unvault are the Pizza Party consumable, Flint Knock Pistol, Charge Shotgun, Egg Launcher, and Hop Eggs. The Aquatic and Rail Warrior Augments improve loopers’ abilities when swimming or grinding rails in Mega City.

3) Superlevel Styles

The highly anticipated Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass Superlevel Styles have also been released with this patch. Players will have access to these styles up to level 200 after reaching level 100.

The three Superlevel Styles that can be unlocked and will have a skin animation are listed below:

  • Kinetic Rush
  • Neon Citrus
  • Mega Wave

All three of these styles are absolutely spectacular and will no doubt be well received by the player community.

Many cosmetic skins have previously been teased in-game via posters and billboards. According to reliable reports, the new posters introduced to the game anticipate the three new Crew Pack skins that will be published in the following months.

Triarch Nox has previously been announced as the bonus skin for the April Crew Pack.

To commemorate the Islamic holiday of Eid, the game will provide brand new Lantern Fest missions in conjunction with the Spring Breakout event. If a player completes all three required quests, they will receive a free weapon wrap.

6) New NPCs on the island

As of the most recent update, nine new non-playable characters (NPCs) have been added to Fortnite Island in Chapter 4 Season 2. During a Battle Royale fight, players can buy stuff from them or hire them as bodyguards.

The game’s user interface has recently been updated, most notably the Quests and Characters menus. The locations and pictures of all NPCs on Fortnite Island have been added to the game’s map.

Also, players can increase their marker on the mini-map to pinpoint their exact location. The revised quests page, on the other hand, now shows a green tick next to each questline’s accomplished chores, sparing players the hassle of cycling through them one by one.

Aside from Easter-themed goods, a bevy of new skins have been revealed, all of which add to the season’s already strong futuristic mood. The two cosmetic costumes, which will be included in Crew packs or sold separately in the Item Store, will soon include an additional style from which players may choose once it is in their Fortnite lockers.
