Adin Ross Announces Halt on Gambling Kick Streams, Says They Are Holding Him Back

Adin Ross has announced his intention to quit gambling and stop wasting money on slot machines, expressing his desire to redirect those funds towards enhancing the quality of his content.

Adin gained significant traction in the slot gaming section on both Twitch (before his ban) and Kick. He was notably critical of Twitch’s newly implemented regulations aimed at restricting gambling broadcasts when they were announced.

This controversy dates back to 2022, when Adin reportedly generated earnings of up to $1 million weekly from one of his gambling sponsors.

Following a permanent ban from the Amazon-owned Twitch in 2023, Adin transitioned completely to Kick, where he continued his gambling streams alongside various other content types.

However, he’s now declaring a stop to those activities, emphasizing that he sees more profitable opportunities to explore with that money.

During his October 16 Kick stream, he stated: “I’m reviving Brand Risk. Brand Risk Promotions are coming back. There’s truly no reason for me to continue this. I apologize, but it’s just not who I am anymore.

“People might say, ‘Is Adin just rambling again?’ But I am serious about this. You will see the change when I stop gambling. The truth is that I’m done with that chapter. I’m ready to let Taav [his manager] take the lead; reclaim the warehouse, create sets, organize events, and truly transform the landscape.”

“Why would I put $1 million into a slot machine when I could invest that same amount into creating content?” he questioned. “That one million could generate millions in return. Are you catching my drift?”

In another segment of the stream, Adin remarked that focusing his content on gambling has been “limiting his potential,” and while he might consider occasional gambling streams, it will no longer be the central theme of his content.

This announcement follows recent comments from Twitch sensation Kai Cenat, who suggested that Adin should cease gambling and consider overhauling or rebranding his entire community to maintain integrity.

There have been speculations in the past that prominent Kick streamers may be bound by contracts requiring gambling streams, given the platform’s association with the online casino Stake, although this has yet to be substantiated.
