Adin Ross discusses potential IRL Squid Games event with Kick and Ice Poseidon

During a streaming session, Adin Ross shared that Kick’s CEO, Edward Craven, expressed interest in planning a Squid Game-inspired event featuring himself and Ice Poseidon, which excited fans.

Streaming events are increasingly gaining prominence with each passing year in the live events industry.

For example, popular events such as QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards and Ludwig’s Streamer Games, as well as athletic competitions like Camp Knut, have gained immense popularity among viewers. These special broadcasts bring together some of the most talented individuals on the internet.

Ice Poseidon, a well-known content creator on the streaming platform Kick, is still riding on the high of his highly entertaining Hunger Games event. This event featured some of the platform’s top broadcasters competing against each other in a YA Sci-Fi inspired competition.

Kick streamer Ice Poseidon went viral for pitting 50 of the platform’s broadcasters against each other in an IRL Hunger Games event.

Currently, Kick is seeking to take advantage of this opportunity by organizing another live-streamed competition featuring a unique Squid Game-inspired event.

During a broadcast in August 2024, Adin Ross, a well-known broadcaster on Kick, announced that he had been approached by the company’s CEO, Edward ‘Eddie’ Craven, and shared this news.

Ross started by saying, “I had a conversation with Eddie.”He then asked, “What are your thoughts on this? And I’m being serious, hear me out.”According to Eddie, Ross wouldn’t have to do anything except show up. Eddie assured him that everything would be taken care of.

“Imagine if Adin Ross and Ice Poseidon teamed up to host a Squid Games event. The best part is, I wouldn’t have to do anything except show up. The entire setup would already be taken care of. Are we on the same page? Great, that’s all there is to it.”

The comments in his chat were flooded with enthusiasm from viewers who were clearly eager to witness the collaboration between these two individuals in such a significant competition, especially one organized by Kick.

Despite this, Adin and Ice would not be the initial notable influencers to produce their own rendition of Netflix’s popular series, Squid Game. The trend was arguably started by YouTube sensation MrBeast, who gained widespread attention for his 2021 remake of the show. His video set records on YouTube and even received recognition from the series’ creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk.
