Adin Ross Issues Apology After Threat of LA Ban Over Kendrick Lamar and Drake Controversy

Adin Ross has retracted his criticism of Los Angeles after encountering threats of a ‘ban’ from the city for supporting Drake in the ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar.

This summer saw the unfolding drama between two of the biggest names in music – Kendrick Lamar and Drake – as they exchanged personal jabs that divided fans, friends, and cities alike.

Although originally from Florida, KICK star Adin Ross took a stand for Drake, labeling Kendrick’s tracks as “corny” and expressing his irritation when Kendrick’s hit ‘Not Like Us’ played at a club.

After a clip of his comments gained traction, some individuals claiming to be affiliated with Kendrick issued threats to Adin and declared him “banned” from LA. In response, the KICK streamer assured fans he was not banned and would continue to speak his mind.

A few days later, Adin publicly apologized for his remarks. “I’ve been in discussions with people from LA. I’m actually planning to visit LA in a couple of weeks,” he stated.

“I want to clarify and retract some of my statements. In the heat of the moment, I was talking reckless. I’m not precisely apologizing to those I directed my comments towards, but I will say this: LA should not be underestimated – at all. LA is a serious place, and I have a deep appreciation for it.”

The streaming star further articulated that, while he was “not backing down,” he still held animosity towards the individuals who had threatened him.

“I still say f*ck you to the people who were coming at me. I’m not directing that at all of LA,” he clarified, labeling them as “fat, low-life losers.”

Additionally, Adin mentioned that he would ensure he had security to navigate his interactions in LA. He also received support from FaZe Banks, an LA resident who offered to stream with him. It will be interesting to see if that collaboration unfolds.
