Adin Ross’s boxing events shut down after fighter suffers brain damage

Despite the shutdown of his ‘Brand Risk’ boxing events by The Florida Boxing Commission, popular streamer Adin Ross has already devised a plan to continue hosting them.

Despite consistently hosting boxing matches on his Kick channel, Adin Ross encountered major issues during his March 23 event, ultimately leading to the banning of his fights by the state of Florida.

The 23-year-old reported that a fighter sustained a severe injury in his most recent event, resulting in the prohibition of hosting boxing matches in Florida.

“According to Ross, one of the overweight individuals suffered brain damage and expressed dissatisfaction. Although they did not necessarily complain, the commission was angered and boxing is no longer an option for them.”

Despite this, the streamer has a contingency plan and is allowing his audience to determine the progression of his events as he transitions from one combat sport to another.

“Ross shared, “Our options are either MMA or kickboxing. I believe kickboxing would be the best choice as training for MMA will be more challenging and time-consuming. Additionally, I will need to construct an octagon for MMA training.”

Additionally, Ross mentioned that incorporating kickboxing would enable his events to continue with the same structure, while also permitting fighters to utilize kicks and knees during their matches.

The star of Kick has announced that he intends to organize a few kickboxing competitions before shifting his focus to MMA. He may even continue to manage both and hold two events per month.

That’s not the end of it; Adin’s ultimate aim for his MMA events is to ultimately collaborate with UFC President Dana White.
