ADOR Announces NewJeans Hyein’s Activities, “Attend Tokyo Dome Fanmeeting & Try To Perform 5-Member Stages”

On June 20th, ADOR issued a statement regarding Hyein’s health status. Hyein, who had taken a break due to a foot injury, will soon resume activities with NewJeans. The notice also mentioned her upcoming schedules.

The notice from ADOR can be found in its entirety below.

“Hello, this is ADOR.”

We would like to provide you with an update on HYEIN’s health and her upcoming schedule.

Since the discovery of a microfracture on the top of her foot in April, HYEIN has been prioritizing treatment and recovery.

After a recent examination, it was confirmed that the fracture is healing properly. As a result, it has been advised that she slowly increase her foot movement over the course of the next month.

After receiving advice from the medical team and engaging in thorough discussions with the rest of the group, it has been decided that HYEIN will be participating in the ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome’ event on June 26 and 27. However, due to the need for a proper rehabilitation period, ADOR is currently making adjustments to HYEIN’s level of involvement in order to prevent any strain on her injury during interactions with fans. As a result, her participation in the performances will be limited. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

We kindly request your understanding that HYEIN will not be able to participate in official ‘Supernatural’ promotions in Japan, such as music shows and other performances, due to the same reasons. However, HYEIN plans to participate in other activities as much as possible, depending on her condition and the advice of the medical team. We are dedicated to ensuring that NewJeans can perform as a complete group in future music shows in South Korea.

We are grateful for your genuine concern regarding HYEIN’s health.

Upon receiving medical clearance that she has fully recovered, she will resume her official activities. We kindly request your ongoing support.

I am grateful.
