On September 13, screenshots from the SNS platform Blind, which requires verified company emails for registration, circulated widely. These screenshots contained messages from an employee of ADOR.
Notably, this employee was seen mocking NewJeans, leading to speculations that Hanni’s concerns about NewJeans facing ostracism were not unfounded.
One of the messages stated, “It’s embarrassing. The fact that that kind of live broadcast was released to the world.”
Furthermore, it was highlighted that ADOR employees had never used Blind before, raising questions about whether the messages originated from new hires who joined ADOR after Min Hee-jin’s departure.
The individual who disseminated the Blind messages remarked, “The company was extremely pro-feminist, but the nature of the comment and its tone indicate that fake-ADOR will not protect NewJeans.”
In a related incident, Hanni from NewJeans previously shared that a manager from a HYBE artist advised them to “ignore” her during a meeting. After discussing this situation with the new ADOR CEO, she learned that there wasn’t much that could be done due to a lack of evidence.
“I realized that the people who could protect us were now gone,” Hanni reflected at that time.
