On April 24, news broke that a file called “Project 1945″had been found on the computer of an executive at NewJeans‘ agency, ADOR.
The document, which is named after the year South Korea gained independence, includes details that are believed to be crucial for ADOR to break free from HYBE Labels. Specifically, it addresses the agency’s concerns regarding HYBE, the ILLIT – NewJeans plagiarism controversy, and is organized into specific sections related to potential legal measures.
In reference to the “Project 1945” document, ADOR’s representatives acknowledged its existence.
On the contrary, HYBE had previously initiated an investigation into ADOR’s management, including CEO Min Hee-jin, alleging that ADOR executives were disclosing sensitive information in an attempt to break away from HYBE.
