On July 29th, News1 reported that Judge Son Seung-beom from the Incheon District Court’s Criminal Division 14 has set the date for A’s sentencing on October 31st. A is facing charges for violating the Narcotics Control Act.
During the final hearing on July 9th, the prosecution requested a two-year prison sentence for A, citing her previous criminal record for similar offenses.
A, with six previous convictions, was charged with reportedly using or having unspecified quantities of ketamine and philopon on three separate occasions from December 10th, 2022 to August 19th of the previous year.
Apart from the drug-related charges, A is currently facing trial for allegedly extorting 300 million won from the late actor Lee Sun-kyun in September of last year. The prosecution claims that she blackmailed him by demanding money, citing a threat from an unknown hacker who threatened to reveal their relationship.
