During the video, Karina was depicted learning a new set of baseball throwing techniques from Junwoo, a professional baseball player. True to her reputation as a charismatic leader, she seamlessly adapted to the learning session and demonstrated her enthusiasm for mastering the fundamentals.

Despite the many moments in the video that caught the eye of K-pop fans, one particular instance stood out. At the 5:08 mark, Junwoo openly declared his admiration for Karina, revealing himself to be a big fan of hers.

Despite fans’ expectations for Karina to be modest, she surprised them by putting the baseball player to the test during aespa’s latest comeback.

The singer inquired Junwoo about the title of aespa’s latest song, prompting the baseball player to respond with “Supernova,”the group’s pre-release. However, Karina persisted and asked about their lead single “Armageddon,”to which the baseball player had neglected to mention.

Junwoo: “I’m a big fan of you.”

Karina: “(Gasps) What’s our new song?”

Junwoo: “Supernova.”

Karina: “There’s another one.”

Junwoo: (silence)

Karina: “I’m going home.”

MYs on social media platform X (Twitter) couldn’t contain their laughter after watching Karina’s impromptu interview with the baseball player, praising her comedic skills.

During her appearance as a special guest on Girl’s Day member and actress Hyeri’s talk show “Hyell’s Club,”Karina shared her thoughts on pursuing a career in acting. In a video clip, Hyeri can be seen asking Karina if she had ever considered trying her hand at acting.

“I’m not sure if I can do it, I’m not very good at speaking,”Karina responded. “My mouth doesn’t look good when I talk. But in conversations like this, I try not to let it bother me too much.”

As Karina pointed out, during the filming of VRs at concerts, she often has multiple lines to deliver. This can make her self-conscious about the appearance of her mouth while performing.
