On May 27th, aespa unveiled their debut full album, “Armageddon.”Prior to its release, the group had already piqued curiosity with their pre-release track, “Supernova,”which delved into their unique worldview of the supernova.
After completing the busy promotions for the album, Karina became a member of the cast for the upcoming entertainment program “Agents of Mystery”.
The highly anticipated adventure mystery show, “Agents of Mystery”, produced by Netflix, is set to debut on June 18th. The show follows a team consisting of Lee Yong-jin, John Park, Lee Eun-ji, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon, and Karina, as they tackle unexplainable cases. Renowned PD Jung Jong-yeon, known for creating hit shows like “The Devil’s Plan”, “Great Escape”, and “High School Mystery Club”, has directed this program.
The PD explained that with “Agents of Mystery,”he wanted to meet the high expectations of viewers for content related to supernatural phenomena. He also emphasized that the show’s unique aspect is that the cast is a group of individuals who share a love for solving supernatural mysteries, inspired by their own childhood viewing experiences. They work together to complete missions and provide an enjoyable viewing experience.
As Lee Yong-jin assumes the role of the team leader, John Park, known for his composure and strength, serves as the team’s intellectual strategist while Lee Eun-ji contributes valuable insights with her keen observations. Hyeri is the team’s versatile ace, Kim Do-hoon utilizes his passion and imagination effectively, and aespa’s Karina handles all necessary tasks for the investigation.
