On July 28th, aespa performed the second day of their “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” at Asue Arena in Osaka, Japan.
After the performance, the official aespa account shared pictures of the members, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing, posing with MYs (the group’s devoted fans) and backup dancers. One of the dancers even displayed a message of encouragement for Karina on their phone.
Prior to the start of the concert, SM announced that Karina would not be able to perform due to her poor health condition. This decision was made after the doctor’s diagnosis following the rehearsal. In fact, during the previous concert on the 27th, Karina had already exhibited signs of exhaustion.
The company additionally declared that the second day of aespa’s Osaka concert would proceed with three members, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing, as Karina was unable to attend due to health reasons.
At the concert, Giselle expressed her sadness that Karina was unable to join them due to health reasons and encouraged the audience to show their support for her. Throughout the concert, fans have been using the hashtag #Look At This Yoo Ji-min (Karina’s real name) to send Karina supportive messages on the Internet.
The Seoul show on June 29th marked the start of aespa’s world tour. The girl group is set to perform in Fukuoka on July 30th and 31st as part of their ongoing tour.
