The initial dating rumor surfaced in July after fans noted Sungchan’s peculiar reaction when he heard the word “winter,”which happens to be the same name as his dog.
Both Winter and Sungchan share a passion for puppies, and this has further fueled the speculation surrounding their rumored relationship.
This time, numerous forms of “evidence”have emerged to bolster these claims, highlighting striking similarities in their interests, texting habits, and the items they use, as if indicating they might be a “couple”in a subtle manner.
To begin with, both idols possess matching sparkly in-ear monitors and made remarks about apples on Weverse within a day of each other last month. Additionally, they are fans of BingBingbar ice cream, hamburgers, and fries. Interestingly, both have cited Switzerland as a dream travel destination and frequently use the same slang, employing the Korean letter for “A.”
Moreover, an older Instagram profile photo of Winter featuring Bambi—the deer often associated with Sungchan’s physical features—has resurfaced, adding to the intrigue.
Upon sharing these “proofs”online, fans from both sides, MYs (aespa fandom) and BRIIZEs (RIIZE fandom), took to the comment section to defend their idols, arguing that the evidence provided is rather flimsy and insufficient to conclude that they are in a relationship based solely on shared interests.
“The apple is a meme among RIIZE, and the Bambi character was chosen by fans in Bubble, intertwining it with the profile picture matching friends. Other RIIZE members also enjoy BingBingBar, and while they’ve discussed it, Sungchan has not revisited the topic since.”
