The all-female idol group aespa recently revealed the CPD version of their highly anticipated 1st full album “Armageddon” . This unique version includes a CD player and earphones. The album’s overwhelming success was evident as it completely sold out on the first day of pre-orders.

SM Entertainment had previously stated that the CDP version of Aespa’s 1st full album, “Armageddon,”would be made available on July 19. Fans can now pre-order the album on the SMTOWN & STORE website and at the KWANGYA@SEOUL music store, with official release set for July 19.

Despite opening for pre-orders just hours ago, the SMTOWN & STORE website is already showing a “SOLD OUT”status as of 3:30 PM on May 24.

The ‘Armageddon’ CDP version mimics the CDP format that was previously featured in the highlight medley. According to SM, the album represents their unwavering belief in this project and its fundamental musical essence, providing fans with a physical and immersive means to possess and appreciate the music.

Typically, albums include photo cards at random, but the ‘Armageddon’ CDP album stands out by offering a set of five photo cards. The album package contains a CDP that plays all ten tracks, the five photo cards, and ten highlight medley graphic stickers. SM made sure to highlight that this album is a special treat for dedicated fans who have eagerly anticipated a full album.

On the flip side, aespa, known for their unique group style and double title track “Supernova”with a playful alien theme, took the top spot on Mnet’s “M Countdown”with the same song. They also reached number one in real time and daily rankings on major music charts in their home country including Melon, Bugs, Flo, and Genie. Even on Spotify, the largest music streaming platform in the world, the song has accumulated over 21 million streams.

On May 27, aespa will release their first full album, titled “Armageddon”, which will feature a total of ten tracks including the title track of the same name.
