Aespa’s Controversial Interaction with LE SSERAFIM Gains Attention Once Again

On April 25, CEO Min Hee-jin, who is in charge of NewJeans’ agency ADOR, conducted a press conference to announce her position on the ongoing dispute between ADOR and HYBE.

The CEO presented text messages between herself and HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk, in which the latter can be seen requesting Min Hee-jin to “Trample on aespa”.

Due to this mention, a previous encounter between aespa and LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae is resurfacing.

In September 2023, while appearing on the KBS YouTube series “Eunchae’s Star Diary”, Eunchae engaged in conversation with aespa members Karina and Ningning. Together, they touched upon a variety of topics.

Eunchae was the first to bring up the news of aespa’s comeback in November, which was later confirmed by Karina and Ningning. However, Karina was taken aback and asked how Eunchae had found out when the aespa members themselves were not aware of many details.

Eunchae replied that the broadcasting station’s staff likely had that information, and then dismissed the issue.

After the video of this interview resurfaced, netizens are now questioning how Eunchae knew about aespa’s comeback time. Many believe that Bang Si-hyuk’s strong desire to undermine aespa must have played a significant role.

There are also suspicions that HYBE was keeping a close eye on aespa’s schedules and activities.
