On July 30th, SM Entertainment announced that Karina will not be taking part in the ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE – in JAPAN’ event at Marine Messe Fukuoka B Hall on July 30th and 31st.
The agency stated that due to Karina’s poor health condition, she was unable to attend the Osaka concert on the 28th. After consulting with medical staff and considering her lack of full recovery, it was decided that she would not participate in the Fukuoka shows. This was done in order to allow Karina the necessary time and rest for stability and recovery.
Therefore, Giselle, Winter and NingNing, the remaining three members, will be carrying out the two shows in Fukuoka without Karina due to the circumstances. SM also expressed their sincere apologies to the fans who have been supporting both aespa and Karina and eagerly anticipating the concert. They have reassured that they will make every effort to support the artist’s speedy recovery and well-being.
The K-pop group aespa has recently launched their first Japanese single, “Hot Mess,”and is currently embarking on a concert tour in Japan.
