On July 29th, a new video was uploaded on the W Korea YouTube channel, showcasing the appearance of Karina from aespa.
In the video, Karina shared her summer swimsuit and expressed her love for swimming. She mentioned that whenever they have overseas schedules, she takes the opportunity to swim at the hotel pool. Karina also revealed that she taught Winter how to swim.
The female idol then revealed her polaroid collection, explaining that although she has a larger collect book with more polaroids, she prefers to carry a smaller one with her for convenience. Among the polaroids were snapshots of Karina’s debut days, unsuccessful autograph attempts, the first time she met senior singer Taeyeon, and special memories like NingNing and Giselle’s birthday parties.
Furthermore, Karina shared that she purchased her Harry Potter MD notebook during a trip to an amusement park in Japan because she is a fan of the series. She mentioned that she has been using the notebook to write lyrics and even incorporated some of those lyrics into her solo performance at their recent concert.
She persisted, stating, “I initially lacked knowledge of professional lyric writing. I wrote my songs like a diary, without understanding the structure of verses and choruses. However, I have since made significant improvements and can now confidently identify an outro,”demonstrating her dedication to mastering composition.
Lastly, Karina pulled out a big sweet potato stick and exclaimed, “Just the sound of this makes me happy.”She then revealed, “I only ate half of it so I could bring it with me. It’s my all-time favorite snack and the perfect accompaniment. I could eat it without any hesitation.”
