On July 29th, an interview video featuring aespa’s Karina showcasing her favorite items in her bag was uploaded on the W Korea YouTube channel.
In the video, Karina showcased a range of items such as her swimsuit, cat pouch, notebook, and polaroid collect book. She then proceeded to reveal a large letter box, which she explained she has owned since her kindergarten days and recently brought back to the dorm. Karina shared that the box holds a special place in her heart as it contains letters she received from friends, family, and fellow members.
On her birthday, Karina unveiled the birthday letters that her mother, father, and older sister had written for the first time. The letters expressed the emotions and worries of her family members, as they juggled busy schedules and also expressed concern for their daughter’s health.
After finishing the concert yesterday, Karina read another handwritten letter from her mother and exclaimed, “I have a letter that I am proud of. Mom wrote it for me!”
The young idol carefully read the heartfelt letter from her mother, in which she expressed, “Although I may not always be physically present with you, my love for you never wanes. Even when I am with other family members, I always make sure to mention you in our conversations. Most importantly, never forget that you are my most precious treasure and always hold your head high with pride.”
