On June 6th, the video “Their friendship that even melted the ice | Eunchae’s Stardiary EP.46″was uploaded onto the YouTube channel “KBS K pop”. The video featured aespa’s Karina and LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eun-chae engaging in conversation with each other.
Hong Eun-chae prepared water ice bingsu for Karina and when Karina expressed doubt that Hong Eun-chae had watched aespa’s “Armageddon”music video, Hong Eun-chae reassured her by saying, “I actually watched it around 6:30. We both thought the music video was incredible.”
Karina proceeded to describe the process of filming the MV, stating, “We traveled to multiple locations and even returned to Seoul to shoot more scenes on a set. It was a unique experience for us to have to visit so many places for a music video. However, the end result was fantastic.”She also mentioned, “While watching ‘Supernova’, we couldn’t contain our laughter. I believe it’s a brilliant blend of dystopia, Y2K, and other elements.”
Karina announced that aespa was gearing up to embark on a world tour. Reflecting on the success of their previous tour, she expressed her determination to make the upcoming one even more spectacular. She also shared that she had been heavily involved in the planning process, including a special section that the group has invested in.
Karina also mentioned that she had saved Hong Eun-chae’s number under the name “Eungchae”. When asked about their friendship, Hong Eun-chae shared that Karina was someone she communicated with the most among her group of friends. Karina concurred, saying that she also tended to have periods of intense communication followed by periods of less contact.
When Karina was questioned about her aspirations for the year, she replied, “I hope our team can win the grand prize! It’s a collective goal for all of us, but personally, I just want to stay healthy.”Upon hearing this, Hong Eun-chae exclaimed, “That’s fantastic! Armageddon!”and Karina couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
This month, Karina’s group aespa will embark on their second world tour, titled “2024 aespa Live Tour – SINK: PARALLEL LINE.”The tour will run from now until September, followed by plans to extend their performances to America and Europe in early next year.
