Aespa’s Success with Supernova Leads to Top Spot in July’s Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings

During the period of June 14, 2024, to July 14, 2024, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted an analysis of 60,356,202 pieces of brand big data to assess the brand reputation index of girl groups. This evaluation was based on several factors, including participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.

The brand reputation rankings for girl groups in July 2024 have been released, with aespa, IVE, TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, and Red Velvet taking the top spots. In the recent girl group brand reputation rankings, aespa (Karina, Winter, Giselle, Ningning) secured the top spot with a participation index of 198,016, a media index of 604,240, a communication index of 2,391,460, and a community index of 2,995,778. These impressive numbers contributed to a brand reputation index of 6,189,495, which marks a significant 14.41% increase from their previous index of 5,409,956 in June.

Despite a 21.67% decrease in brand reputation index compared to June, IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) still secured second place with a participation index of 219,232, a media index of 687,109, a communication index of 1,508,788, and a community index of 2,118,507, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,533,636.

In June, TWICE (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu) placed third with a participation index of 69,904, a media index of 976,848, a communication index of 1,406,630, and a community index of 1,800,035, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,253,417. This marks an 85.10% increase from their brand reputation index of 2,297,941 in June.

The group LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae), who placed fourth, recorded a participation index of 122,332, media index of 391,970, communication index of 1,726,930, and community index of 1,766,906, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,008,137. This marks a significant 65.29% rise from their June brand reputation index of 2,424,984.

Despite ranking fifth, (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) had a brand reputation index of 3,960,533, with a participation index of 57,120, a media index of 554,557, a communication index of 1,705,685, and a community index of 1,643,171. This marks a significant 53.38% rise from their June brand reputation index of 2,582,202.
