After Hinting On Retirement, BoA Announces Concert In October And Takes First Long Vacation Since Debut

On May 14th, BoA announced her upcoming concert in October in Korea through a live broadcast on social media. She expressed her excitement and invited her fans to attend, also mentioning that she was currently on her way to a meeting regarding the concert.

“Despite my busy schedule, I’m currently in a great state. It’s the longest vacation I’ve had since my debut and I plan on using this time to relax and rejuvenate by indulging in good food and getting enough rest. I want to assure my fans that I’m doing well and feeling positive.”

In the beginning of this year, BoA made an appearance on tvN’s drama “Marry My Husband”and also released a new song titled “Emptiness.”Unfortunately, she faced hurtful comments about her appearance. In response, BoA took to SNS and wrote, “I may not know who you are, but please don’t spend your time leaving negative remarks. I am sorry, but I am still BoA,”bravely addressing her discomfort.

Despite the continuous malicious comments, she did not let it affect her and even posted a message alluding to her retirement, stating that she will continue to give her best as a singer until the end of her contract in 2025, December 31. Following this, her agency SM Entertainment announced their plans to take legal action against these harmful remarks.
