In my opinion, I found the Hippeus unit to be quite enjoyable. Despite their high cost, these Greek cavalry units are very effective against ranged units and siege weapons. Their ability to swiftly attack and retreat makes them valuable in impeding enemy tactics.
Greek Wonder
The Greeks also have the advantage of a one-of-a-kind Wonder building that offers major benefits in the latter part of the game. This Greek Wonder elevates the Greek Pantheon to the Wonder Age and offers the following bonuses:

The Chariot Archer is another important unit in the Egyptian army. This fast and mounted ranged unit is especially effective against infantry. However, they may struggle against cavalry, buildings, and siege weapons. Nonetheless, their speed and versatility make them a crucial element of the Egyptian army during the mid to late game.

The Atlantean Pantheon in Age of Mythology: Retold
The Atlantean civilization possesses a unique advantage in their ability to quickly adapt to their opponents due to their affordable and rapidly-recharging God Powers. Furthermore, the Atlanteans have the ability to turn any of their units, including Citizens, into heroes, allowing them to build versatile armies. Regardless of the situation, it is essential to have at least one Oracle. These specialized scout units provide a considerable range of vision when immobile. Despite their lack of speed and combat strength, Oracles are invaluable for reconnaissance and strategic decision-making due to their ability to gather information over a large area. Additionally, they passively generate Favor, which aids in strengthening the Atlantean economy. Do not position multiple Oracles adjacent to each other. Oracles cannot collaborate, and only one will produce Favor, rather than all three.
The Bireme is considered one of the top units in the Atlantean arsenal, known for its exceptional performance in naval battles, especially against close-range ships. With its advanced maneuverability and efficient ramming abilities, the Bireme plays a crucial role in maintaining Atlantean supremacy.
Last but not least, give the Turma a shot. This mounted javelineer serves as a specialized counter-unit, specifically equipped to take down long-range soldiers.
