Ahn Hyo-seop Takes on Male Lead Role in New Project by “Lovely Runner” Director

As reported by Star News on October 31st, Ahn Hyo-seop has been selected for a leading role in the upcoming drama titled “Night in Heaven,” under the direction of Yoon Jong-ho, recognized for his work on tvN’s “Lovely Runner.”

The drama “Night in Heaven” draws inspiration from the 2022 novel by author Hwang Eui-geon, exploring the intricate tales of chaebols and sex workers. The narrative centers around a chaebol heiress, who struggles with the stigma of being an illegitimate child, and crosses paths with the top member of a clandestine club located in Cheongdam-dong. Their relationship blossoms as they protect one another from malevolence and ultimately find genuine love.

Ahn Hyo-seop will portray the character Chun-guk, a former taekwondo champion who becomes the standout member of the secretive club known as “si bel homme,” which translates to “handsome man” in French. Chun-guk’s life takes a turn as he immerses himself in the nightlife after falling into debt with loan sharks, a consequence of his stepmother absconding with his father’s insurance payout.

In addition, Ahn Hyo-seop is set to host the “2024 fan meeting ‘I WANT TO SAY ()’” scheduled for November 9 and 10 at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
