Ailee and Choi Sihoon Officially Tied the Knot in August 2024

Singer Ailee (36, real name Lee Ye-jin) has made headlines as it has come to light that she and her fiancé, actor and entrepreneur Choi Sihoon (33), have been legally married since August 21, 2024.

According to a report by Star News on March 25, the duo had completed their marriage registration several months prior to announcing their wedding plans publicly. This revelation caught many off guard, especially since they had only recently confirmed their cohabitation on the MBC variety show “Hangout with Yoo.”

The couple is gearing up for their wedding ceremony, scheduled for April 20, 2025. Ailee and Choi reportedly crossed paths through mutual friends and nurtured their relationship privately until Ailee shared her engagement news with fans in November of the previous year via her official fan café.

In her heartfelt announcement, Ailee expressed, “I’ve met someone with whom I want to share all the love I’ve received, and I’ve decided to get married.” She praised Choi as a dependable and understanding partner who inspires her to envision a shared future.

Choi Sihoon gained fame through the Netflix dating show “Single’s Inferno” but has since distanced himself from the spotlight to concentrate on his ventures in the food and beverage (F&B) sector as well as the Multi-Channel Network (MCN) industry.

Amidst planning her wedding, Ailee is also committed to her music career. On March 20, she released her latest mini album titled “(Me)moir, ” which features the title track “MMI.” Ailee has been actively promoting her comeback on stages like “M Countdown” and “Music Bank.”
