An airplane passenger has recently gone viral for her clever technique to charge multiple devices simultaneously during a flight.

TikToker Rachel Gaede shared with her 434K followers what many are dubbing a “brilliant” flight hack demonstrated by her sister, Caroline Gaede.

Like numerous airplane travelers, Caroline encountered the challenge of needing to charge multiple devices at once.

To address this issue, Caroline brought along a charging hub equipped with several ports. She plugged in the charger to charge her headphones, mobile phone, and even her laptop all at the same time.

“I know my sister is academically smart, but I love when she shows her street smarts with ideas like this,” Rachel described in the clip featuring her sister.

The TikTok has garnered over 3.7 million views and even caught the attention of Google, which commented, “Innovation at its finest.”

Other impressed viewers commented on the hack, praising the “smart” solution.

“This is so big brain,” one user wrote.

“We stan a prepared queen,” another commented.

Some users inquired about where Rachel’s sister acquired the charging hub, to which she responded, “Target or Amazon!”

While many social media users were fascinated by her charging technique, it’s important to note that each airline has different regulations regarding the safety of multi-socket adapters.

Regarding the potential hazards of using such devices during a flight, a spokesperson for the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration stated, “Airlines are responsible for ensuring cabin safety during flight and develop policies accordingly. Passengers must follow all crew members’ instructions.”

While Caroline’s charging hack may assist future travelers in keeping their devices powered, it’s not the only airplane tip to gain traction online recently.

In September, a mother with a young child received millions of views on TikTok for sharing her strategy of booking a window and aisle seat. She explained that this arrangement reduces the likelihood of someone choosing the middle seat, thereby avoiding sitting between two strangers.
