Akon Performs ‘Locked Up’ with Vitaly as Alleged Child Predator is Arrested

Vitaly and Akon joined forces to apprehend predators, with the singer later performing ‘Locked Up’ as the police arrived to make an arrest.

The Russian content creator, Vitaly, who is based in the US, has returned to his previous actions of collaborating with famous musicians. Together, they are exposing suspected child predators by live streaming their interactions on Kick.

In past collaborations, YG, The Game, Lil Pump, and Ty Dolla $ign have all joined Vitaly for his controversial streams. However, this time, the rap sensation Akon joined him for the hunt.

Upon the arrival of the police to arrest a man who was accused of trying to meet up with a minor, Vitaly showed up with a boombox playing the instrumental of Akon’s famous song ‘Locked Up’. Akon then delivered a live performance of the song.

The police arrived once Vitaly and his crew, who were all fully dressed in costumes resembling Traditional Native American attire, had cornered the suspected predator in a public park.

Vitaly arrived on horseback and tried to capture the suspected predator, but Akon prevented him from escaping. The accused had been having a picnic with an actor portraying an underage boy, but when the group surrounded him with sticks, he tried to run away.

Although the man pleaded to be released, law enforcement was called to the location and ultimately chose to apprehend him, placing him in handcuffs while the event was being broadcasted. It was at this moment that Vitaly revealed the boombox.

With a microphone in hand, Akon took to the stage and delivered a live performance of his 2004 song. As he sang the lyrics, “I’m constantly trying to uncover the reason behind my actions, the freedom I seek seems out of reach.”

“My car is stolen regardless of how far I travel. Without any registration, I am constantly being stopped by patrolling cops. As a result, I have been arrested.”

As the chorus began, Vitaly joined in and the two of them added some dance moves, all while the arrest continued in the background.

Despite Vitaly’s efforts to recruit mainstream celebrities and their participation in his vigilantism, not everyone was a fan. Some even went as far as to dub the performance as “stupid sh**”and question whether the stream was staged.

On the other hand, some individuals found the situation to be “hilarious”, with one person sharing on X (previously known as Twitter): “In America, it is only possible to witness the irony of a notorious pedophile being arrested while a wealthy singer performs about the event…in real time.”
