Alex Cooper Launches Unwell Hydration: A Beverage Crafted for Women

Unwell Hydration is available in three enticing flavors: Strawberry, Mango Citrus, and Orange Hibiscus. Cooper emphasizes the motivating factor behind her creation, stating, “Women are often expected to juggle multiple roles and be everything to everyone, which is why I wanted to create a hydration drink that helps replenish what we give out.” She further remarks, “Hydration, however, is a universal need, and that’s what truly matters — a drink that supports wellness for everyone, regardless of who you are.”

Availability and Nutritional Profile

Set to hit shelves on January 1, 2025, Unwell Hydration is specifically formulated to address hydration needs, packing over 700mg of electrolytes, a blend of B-complex vitamins, and a modest 4g of sugar. Additionally, it contains 75mg of caffeine derived from green coffee extract, distinguishing it from competitors like Prime Hydration.

This drink will be exclusively available at Target stores across the U.S. and online, priced at $2.49 for a 16.9 fluid ounce bottle and $14.99 for an eight-pack. As 2025 progresses, there’s a plan for Unwell to expand its presence in other retail outlets.

Cooper’s Unwell Hydration is part of a growing trend where influencers and celebrities are launching their own drinks. For instance, Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime Hydration debuted in January 2022 with flavors such as Ice Pop and Tropical Punch. Their initiative generated over $250 million in sales within the first year. Notably, even soccer superstar Lionel Messi entered the market with his beverage Más+, which sparked legal disputes with Prime over similar packaging.
