Prior to its official release, aespa’s social media accounts revealed teaser photos for their “Supernova”MV, featuring the members dressed in trendy outfits and striking poses in different locations on the street.

Upon admiring the photos of aespa, Korean MYs who were saving Winter’s shots from the official website in their galleries made a surprising discovery – the photos were actually taken on January 1, 1980.

Upon testing it with the other members, it was discovered that their teasers were also saved on the same date in 1980.

As a consequence, this sparked intense discussion within the fandom. While some speculated that it could be a technical error, many MYs argued that it was deliberately planned, citing the fact that the previous aespa “Armageddon”photos were saved with current dates.

Amidst this, numerous fan theories arose, with most of them linking the concept to the group’s overarching worldview that spans across time and transcends timelines.

SM explains that this song gives a glimpse into aespa’s expanded perspective by using a supernova as a metaphor for the start of an event that leads to another dimension. The lyrics also portray this event as the start of a powerful explosion within oneself, delivered in a stylish and hip manner that showcases aespa’s distinct charm.

Therefore, fans are speculating that aespa will portray aliens in their upcoming comeback, as there are reports and documents from the 1980s in England that support this idea of real UFO sightings.

Many fans are speculating that aespa may be traveling through time to the past.

Among these theories, fans will be able to confirm this once it is officially released on May 13 at 6 pm KST.

Afterwards, aespa’s debut full-length album, titled “Armageddon,”is set to be released on May 27th. The album will feature a diverse range of 10 songs, including the double title tracks “Armageddon”and “Supernova.”

The song “Supernova”sparked excitement, not only because of its concept, but also because it was written and composed by hitmaker KENZIE.

This performance will feature a dance genre featuring a captivating minimal track with a strong emphasis on heavy kick and bass, along with a memorable top line and alluring synth melody.
