Twitch streamer Fanfan was shocked to find that fellow broadcaster Alinity had not been banned for breaking the platform’s terms of service, despite being accused of doing so and wearing inappropriate attire.
Twitch has a history of dealing with controversial situations when it comes to determining which stream content is appropriate and which is not. This has been evident in incidents involving hot tubs, censor bars, and unintentional nudity in the past, resulting in multiple policy revisions.
Despite becoming more lenient with its bans over the years, the website still has a tendency to suspend creators who accidentally post adult content. It is not uncommon to see streamers pushing the boundaries and testing the limits set by the website.
On August 7, Fanfan, a well-known streamer, was browsing through trending Twitch clips when they came across a clip of Alinity in which she accidentally revealed a bit too much while removing pads from her shirt.
“According to Fanfan, anyone who has thoroughly read the Twitch TOS should be aware that displaying visible n**ples is not allowed. It is only acceptable to show them accidentally, without prior knowledge.”
According to Twitch’s Community Guidelines, it is prohibited to show breasts with exposed nipples of individuals presenting as female, unless they are actively breastfeeding a child.

The platform prohibits “Content that features prolonged focus on clothed intimate body parts, such as the buttocks, groin, or breasts.”
Despite Fanfan’s video exposing Alinity’s actions gaining over 180,000 views among the streaming community, it appears that Alinity will not be facing any repercussions.
The original clip was posted on August 1 and Twitch has not taken any action against the streamer since that time.
Despite previous incidents, this is not the first occasion where Alinity’s clothing choices have caused controversy. In 2020, the streamer even requested a longer suspension from Twitch after receiving a one-day ban for a wardrobe malfunction.
