Demon Slayer: Fights in Infinity Castle
Shinobu Kocho vs Doma – Demon Slayer Battle
As Doma devours his female disciples within the Infinity Castle, his attention is drawn to Shinobu and he becomes filled with joy. One of his disciples pleads for Shinobu’s assistance, but tragically passes away right before her. Fueled by anger, Shinobu launches an attack on Doma, determined to avenge her sister Kanae, who had also perished under his control.
Despite Shinobu’s impressive Insect Breathing techniques, Doma manages to resist her poison and ultimately delivers a fatal blow. Shinobu’s last-ditch effort appears successful for a moment, but Doma quickly recovers and deals a fatal blow. In her final moments, Shinobu is joined by Kanao, who witnesses Doma absorb her. Fueled by anger, Kanao attempts to attack but is pushed back. Doma successfully absorbs Shinobu, leaving only her butterfly hairpiece behind.
Comparison between Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku
Zenitsu comes face to face with his former senior, Kaigaku, who has now turned into a demon, inside the castle. Despite Kaigaku’s transformation, Zenitsu refuses to acknowledge him as his senior anymore. Kaigaku ridicules Zenitsu’s skills, but Zenitsu fires back by pointing out that Kaigaku only obtained his higher rank due to an empty spot. As the tension rises, Zenitsu accuses Kaigaku of being responsible for their master’s death.
Despite his injuries, Zenitsu fights back against Kaigaku’s ferocious attacks, using his own Thunder Breathing techniques. With the help of Yushiro, Zenitsu is able to defeat Kaigaku and is overcome with a sense of pride and approval as he dreams of his master Jigoro.
Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka’s Battle Against Akaza
As Tanjiro and Giyu search for Muzan in the castle, they unexpectedly encounter Upper Rank Three. In order to seek revenge for Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro initiates a fierce battle against Akaza. Giyu is impressed by Tanjiro’s growth as they both fiercely engage Akaza. Acknowledging Tanjiro’s strength, Akaza activates his Compass Needle technique.
As both Demon Slayers push themselves beyond their limits, Giyu activates his Demon Slayer Mark, increasing his powers. Tanjiro successfully beheads Akaza, but despite his regeneration, Giyu and Tanjiro persist in their battle. As Akaza’s head regenerates, his past memories as a human resurface, leading him to choose to end his own life and find peace. The intense fight leaves Tanjiro and Giyu drained, while the other Upper Ranks react to Akaza’s demise.
Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira take on Doma
As Shinobu becomes fully consumed by Doma, Kanao arrives and is alerted by her presence. Fueled by anger, Kanao launches an assault on Doma, but is quickly pushed back. Despite utilizing her Flower Breathing techniques, she is no match for his formidable strength. However, their fight takes a turn when Inosuke arrives to join forces with Kanao, and together they engage in a fierce battle against Doma.
During the battle, Doma admits to Inosuke that he was the one responsible for his mother’s death, intensifying Inosuke’s anger. As Doma attempts to flee, Shinobu’s poison takes effect and weakens him. In a synchronized effort, Kanao and Inosuke deliver a fatal blow to Doma, causing him to contemplate his loss and his detached past before passing away.
Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro vs Nakime
As Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro venture through the Infinity Castle, they come across Nakime, the recently appointed Upper Rank 4. Mitsuri launches an attack, but Nakime’s Blood Demon Art redirects it, almost causing Mitsuri to lose her footing. Obanai quickly intervenes, warning them to be careful. Nakime’s manipulation divides and assaults them individually.
Despite Mitsuri’s attempts to dodge and counterattack, she is once again outmaneuvered. As Obanai tries to behead Nakime, his efforts are foiled. However, Yushiro suddenly appears and uses his powers to take control of Nakime’s vision and the Infinity Castle.
Upon being exposed to sunlight by Yushiro, Muzan engages in a fierce battle with Giyu and Tanjiro. During the confrontation, he boasts about Nakime’s apparent triumph over Mitsuri and Obanai. However, his confidence is shattered when the two Hashira suddenly appear, and he realizes that Yushiro has manipulated Makima. In a desperate attempt to regain control of the Infinity Castle, Muzan ruthlessly ends Nakime’s life and redirects his attention to the remaining Hashira.
The Battle of Muichiro Tokito, Genya Shinazugawa, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima against Kokushibo
Despite being separated from Gyomei Himejima by Nakime’s Blood Demon Art, Muichiro Tokito finds himself facing off against Kokushibo, also known as Michikatsu Tsugikuni, Upper Rank One, inside the Infinity Castle. Though taken aback by the revelation, Muichiro bravely utilizes his Mist Breathing techniques to engage in battle with Kokushibo. However, he is no match for Kokushibo’s effortless dodges and counters, and ultimately suffers the loss of his hand and a stab wound.
Despite Kokushibo’s offer to turn Muichiro into a demon, Genya interrupts and is quickly injured. Sanemi shows up and saves Genya, then confronts Kokushibo, displaying impressive skill and determination despite being badly wounded. Gyomei then joins the fight, using his Stone Breathing techniques to challenge Kokushibo. Though Kokushibo praises Gyomei’s abilities, he manages to avoid sustaining any significant damage.
Despite his serious injuries, Muichiro is determined to fight and has limited time to do so. Genya encourages him to retrieve Kokushibo’s hair. Kokushibo takes notice of Gyomei’s Demon Slayer Mark and warns him about the curse, but Gyomei disregards his words. Sanemi, who has been healed and awakened by his Demon Slayer Mark, joins Gyomei in their coordinated attacks, which only serve to escalate the intensity of the battle.
Despite causing chaos with his hidden ability to extend and branch his sword, Kokushibo is ultimately defeated by the combined efforts of the Hashira. Even though Genya, now a demon, uses his Blood Demon Art to bind Kokushibo and the Hashira suffer severe injuries, they persist and give their all to take down the Demon. In the end, it is Gyomei and Sanemi’s red Nichirin Swords that deliver the final blow, beheading Kokushibo. In his last moments, Kokushibo reflects on his existence and remembers his brother, Yoriichi.
