All confirmed Marvel Rivals heroes: Full roster of 19 characters

Marvel Rivals, the latest addition to the hero shooter genre, will showcase a lineup of major characters from both the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Take a look at the complete roster of heroes in Marvel Rivals.

The first trailer for Marvel Rivals received numerous comparisons to Overwatch, as some of the most powerful superheroes on Earth were seen as substitutes for characters such as Hanzo and Reaper.

Despite not all characters confirmed for Marvel Rivals receiving their spotlight in the trailer, NetEase, the developer, has announced that 19 characters will be included in the game upon its release. It is currently uncertain if all 19 characters will be accessible during the Closed Alpha on May 10, 2024.

At launch, Marvel Rivals may seem to have a limited roster of only 19 characters. However, it should be noted that Overwatch also initially launched with only 21 heroes, so Marvel Rivals is not significantly behind in terms of character selection.

It has been stated that additional heroes will be included in the game after its release, sparking speculation among Marvel enthusiasts about the potential addition of characters like Thor, War Machine, and Daredevil. However, at this time, there have been no confirmations of any characters beyond the initial 19.

It remains uncertain if these characters will follow a comparable class system to Overwatch and if they will possess ultimate abilities.

The trailer revealed that characters possess “team-up”abilities that enhance their powers when combined with another character. It is currently unclear if these abilities can be used with any other Marvel hero, or if there are specific characters that work particularly well together.
