In Season 5 of Diablo 4, the Seasonal Journey tab presents you with numerous tasks to accomplish. These tasks are divided into seven chapters, and successfully completing each chapter will earn you valuable gear and consumables tailored to your class.
The objectives, which are straightforward, are interconnected with the various activities within the game. They can be found in all seven chapters of the Seasonal Journey for Diablo 4 Season 5.
Season 5 Seasonal Journey Objectives and Rewards in Diablo 4
Chapter 1
- Unsure Loyalty: Visit Istel in Zarbinzet and elevate Mother’s Gift reputation to Rank 1.
- Begone Devils: Defeat Demons throughout Sanctuary. (100)
- Test of Mettle: Defeat Elite Monsters. (5)
- Spoils of Hell: Open Tortured Gifts during a Helltide. (1)
- Risk and Reward: Buy pieces of equipment from the Purveyor of Curiosities. (5)
- Into The Breach: Complete Hellbreach. (1)
- Trouble in the Wilds: Complete World Events. (3)
- Upgrade to Tiny: Enhance your Potion by visiting the Alchemist and selecting the tiny option.
- Forager: Collect Bundled Herbs from Harvest Nodes, Cellars, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary. (50)
- Tanner’s Apprentice: Collect Rawhide from salvaging Armor, defeating Monsters, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary. (50)
- Prospector: Collect Iron Chunks from salvaging Weapons and Jewelry, Mineral Nodes, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary. (50)
The first chapter contains objectives that can be completed during the initial stages of the game.
Rewards are a form of recognition or compensation given for achieving something or completing a task.

- A Master at Work: Complete World Events with Mastery. (1)
- Stuff of Legends: Collect Veiled Crystals from salvaging gear at the Blacksmith or other sources throughout Sanctuary. (100)
- Expanded Repertoire: Learn Recipe of Magic rarity or higher. (1)
- Miracles of Alchemy: Craft Elixirs at the Alchemist. (5)

- Gifts of the Ancients: Unlock Aspects in the Codex of Power. (10)
- To reach level 40, one must have been toughened by countless battles.
- Deeper Evil Within: Complete Dungeons. (10)
- Capable Craftsman: Learn Recipe of Rare rarity or higher. (1)
- Basic Needs: Temper Affixes onto Gear at the Blacksmith. (5)
Completing these set of objectives will give you materials to summon Endgame bosses in World Tier 3.

- The ritual known as the “Blessing of the Strong”requires the equipping of Sacred Legendary items in every available slot.
- Grim Claim: Obtain Caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers. (20)
- The Depths of Fear: Use Nightmare Sigils to create and complete Nightmare Dungeons. (5)
- Touching the Eternal: Unlock Aspects in the Codex of Power. (25)
- A Deathless Heart: Defeat Aether Fiends. (10)
- The Way Down: Acquire Infernal Compasses. (5)
- The Infernal Compasses can be enhanced with Abyssal Scrolls by the Eternal Champion.
- The Infernal Hordes Falter: Overcome the Fell Council within the Infernal Hordes.
- To experience the emotion of guilt, one must triumph over the Echo of Varshan in World Tier 3.
- Stem the Tide: Defeat Monsters at maximum threat level during a Helltide on World Tier 3 or higher. (666)

- By Means of Bile and Brimstone: Elevate the status of Mother’s Gift to Rank 12.
- The requirement for “Heir to Transcendence”is to have an Ancestral Legendary equipped in each item slot.
- Damnation’s Downfall: Defeat Helltide Commanders during Helltides, summoned after completing Helltide Events. (20)
- This Is Not a Dream: Successfully conquer a Nightmare Dungeon of Tier 21 or above.
- At level 75, you will have been tempered by Hellfire.
- Echoes of the Ancients: Unlock Aspects in the Codex of Power, such as through completing Dungeons. (50)
- Strip Their Souls: Vanquish Aether Diends, Aether Lords, and Infernal Demons.
- Corruption Consumed: Collect Burning Aether from Hellbreaches and Infernal Hordes in World Tier 4. (666)
- To complete the task of defeating The Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes Tier 2, one must face excommunication.
- To conquer the mightiest foes of Hell, defeat Champion Monsters at World Tier 4.

Champion
- To prevent the Hells from causing harm, raise Mother’s Gift reputation to Rank 17.
- Forgiveness: Achieve victory over Lord Zir in World Tier 4.
- Harbinger of Ice: Conquer The Beast in the Frozen Tundra on World Tier 4.
- The Gathering Fires: Acquire Cinders during Helltide in World Tier 4. (6666)
- Collapsing the System: Defeat any Ladder Bosses in World Tier 4. (10)
- To reach the brink of madness, you must successfully complete a Nightmare Dungeon of Tier 30 or higher.
- Death to the Wicked: Defeat The Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes in Tier 3
- Preamble: The requirement for this task is to have completed Artificer’s Tier 1 or above in The Pit.
- Ancient Craft: Temper Affixes onto Ancestral Gear at the Blacksmith. (20)
- Infernal Hordes: Destroy Aetheric Mass in World Tier 4. (25)

- Epic Favor (Battle Pass XP)
- The emblem of the Gates of Hell.
- Champion’s Cache (Infernal Compass, Elixirs, and a Scroll of Amnesia.)
- Champion’s Crafting Cache (Crafting Materials.)
- Champion’s Summoning Cache (Stygian Stones and other World Tier 4 boss materials.)
- Champion’s Equipment Cache (Two Ancestral Legendaries and an Ancestral Unique for your class.)
Destroyer (Chapter 7)
- To achieve a Rank 20 reputation for Mother’s Gift, you must become the ultimate weapon.
- The Bigger They Are: Defeat World Bosses. (10)
- To acquire the Avatar of Sanctuary’s Might, make sure you have equipped a minimum of 8 Ancestral Unique items at the same time.
- To achieve the title of “Anointed Immortal,”one must reach Level 100.
- The Glyphmaster can enhance Paragon Glyphs to Rank 15 by successfully completing Nightmare Dungeons.
- Upgrade your Infernal Compasses to Tier 8 by using Abyssal Scrolls with the Infernal Challenger.
- In order to defeat The Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes Tier 6, it is necessary to ensure that they burn forever.
- Unholy Coffers: After defeating The Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes, open a Greater Spoils of Hell chest.
- To extinguish the anguish, summon and defeat the Tormented Echo of Andariel using Stygian Stones.
- The Horadric Smith can upgrade gear to Rank 8 at the Blacksmith, producing masterwork items.
- To defeat the Tormented Echo of Duriel, summon and use Stygian Stones as an Eradicator.
The final set of objectives can be completed in the endgame stages for Diablo 4 Season 5.
Rewards are benefits or prizes that are given as a result of an accomplishment or action.

It is important to mention that by completing 80% of the objectives in a chapter, you are able to obtain all of the rewards. These objectives primarily revolve around the Infernal Hordes mode, providing the perfect opportunity to utilize the newly introduced Unique weapons and armor pieces in this season.
