As Hades 2 enters early access, gamers are eagerly returning to the Greek Underworld with Melinoe as the new protagonist. With its exceptional voice acting, some may be curious about the identities of the familiar voices they hear. Here is a list of all the voice actors and cast for Hades 2.
All Hades 2 Voice Actors and Characters
In the sequel to Hades, numerous new characters have been introduced to the narrative, alongside some memorable returning ones.
Judy Alice Lee as Melinoe
Judy Alice Lee is renowned for her voice work in popular titles such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Sharkdog, and Genshin Impact.
Melinoe, the princess of the Underworld, is the daughter of Hades and Persephone, and therefore the younger sibling of Zagreus. She shares a similar trait with her brother, as she also has heterochromia, with one eye being red like her father’s and the other green like her mother’s.
Amelia Tyler as Hecate
Amelia Tyler is recognized for her vocal contributions in a variety of games such as Metal: Hellsinger, Amnesia: Rebirth, and Divinity: Original Sin 2. However, she is best known for her iconic narration in Baldur’s Gate 3.
In the second installment of Hades, Hecate remains the Goddess of Witchcraft and serves as a mentor to Melinoe. Utilizing a pair of torches as her weapons, she assists Melinoe in her mission to defeat Chronos.
Colin Ryan as Apollo
Colin Ryan is a well-established actor who has experience both on-screen and as a voice actor for video games. He is particularly recognized for his portrayal of Alphinaud in the popular video game Final Fantasy XIV.
In the upcoming game Hades 2, Apollo, the God of Light and younger brother to Artemis, will offer boons to Melinoe, similar to how Artemis offered boons to Zagreus in the previous game. Unlike his sister, Apollo is known for his loud and attention-seeking personality, often making grand entrances and stealing the spotlight.
Erin Yvette as Dora
Erin Yvette has been recognized for her numerous voice acting roles in various video games, including portraying Alex in Oxenfree, Arlecchino in Genshin Impact, Snow White in The Wolf Among Us, and Molly in the Telltale Walking Dead game.
Dora is a benevolent spirit who makes an appearance in the Underworld of Hades 2. Much like Dusa in the previous installment, her name is a nod to a Greek mythological figure, with Dora’s name being linked to Pandora and Dusa’s to Medusa. This further adds to the game’s allusion to Greek mythology.
Sterling Sulieman as Moros
Sterling Sulieman’s on-screen presence has been showcased in numerous movies and television shows. Additionally, he has provided his voice for popular games such as Horizon: Forbidden West, Resident Evil 3, and Fire Emblem Heroes.
In Hades 2, Moros, son of Nyx and brother of the Fates from the previous game, is known for wielding a large, thin blade as his signature weapon. He is considered to embody doom, inevitability, and bad luck.
Becca Q. Co as Nemesis
Becca Q. Co has portrayed numerous characters in different games, such as Mirai in Midautumn, Gwen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Miss Velvet in Seven Knights 2, and Jawhead in Mobile Legends: Adventure.
Nemesis is the Goddess of Retribution in Hades 2 and is known for her friendly rivalry with Melinoe. She is the daughter of Nyx, and is constantly working to prove her worth to her mentor, Hecate.
Logan Cunningham as Hades
The voice of Logan Cunningham is a familiar one in SuperGiant’s games, as he has lent his talents to Bastion, Transistor, Hades, and Hades 2. He has also been featured in other popular games such as Dota 2, Unavowed, Pyre, and Primordia. Chances are, if you are an avid video game player, you have heard his voice before.
Despite having a character limit of 366, Logan once again lends his iconic voice to the title character, Hades, the God of the Underworld. As the father of both Melinoe and Zagreus, the main characters in both games, Hades is responsible for ruling over the realm of the dead. However, in Hades 2, he is unexpectedly captured by his own father, Chronos, leading Melinoe to embark on a perilous mission to rescue him.
