Overwatch 2 Season 10: Tank updates and Wrecking Ball revamp

The upcoming Overwatch 2 Season 10 will feature significant updates for Wrecking Ball, as well as modifications to other Tanks such as Reinhardt and Junker Queen.

Despite being a weaker Tank option for a period of time, it is not unexpected that the developers have selected Wrecking Ball as the next Hero to receive a rework. In addition to improvements to his Grappling Hook, we can anticipate a modification that allows him to provide healing to his teammates, ultimately enhancing his ability to safeguard his team.

According to the latest Developer’s Take by Aaron Keller, Reinhardt and Junker Queen’s ultimate abilities will undergo some modifications to improve their performance in Season 9 and beyond.

The details of how their ults will be altered have not yet been specified. Please continue to check this page for updates, as we will post the information as soon as it becomes available.

Overwatch 2 Season 10 DPS updates: Sombra and Tracer

In Overwatch 2 Season 10, Sombra and Tracer will undergo significant changes, largely consisting of nerfs. These two heroes are expected to be the most affected by the updates.

Both Sombra and Tracer have been popular choices in Season 9, prompting the developers to implement some balance adjustments for both heroes. Sombra’s Virus will be receiving a slight nerf, reducing its damage over time from 100 to 90. This change, particularly with the ability’s initial burst, should make dealing with Sombra a bit more manageable.

The specific changes that Tracer will receive have not yet been disclosed, however the developers have stated that they will be making her more vulnerable and demanding of accuracy through some “minor”adjustments.

Overwatch 2 Season 10 Support Updates: Moira, Lucio, and Illari

Although Season 10 may not bring buffs for Moira, Lucio, and Illari, Overwatch 2 developers have expressed their intention to redistribute their abilities to different aspects of their kits.

The Director’s Take mentioned that Illari’s kit would be altered to allow her to focus more on healing. As a result, her primary fire recovery time will be slightly decreased from 0.2 to 0.25 seconds. However, her secondary fire heal will receive a boost, increasing its HPS from 105 to 115.

The specific changes coming to Moira and Lucio were not specified, however, it is likely that they will focus more on healing and damage respectively. This could potentially allow these Heroes to excel in their designated roles even more.

The developers have also stated their intention to enhance Lifeweaver’s abilities for the upcoming season, although they have not shared any specific details at this time.

The release of the official trailer for Season 10 is scheduled for April 11, so be sure to check back here for all the latest updates.
