Location of Every Map Fragment in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
Gravesite Plain
Upon touching Miquella’s cocoon, the first major area you will come across in Shadow of the Erdtree is the Shadow Lands. Head northeast and you will come across a field with a familiar stele from the base game in the center. Approach the stele and collect the item to obtain the Map Fragment for Gravesite Plain.
Scadu Altus
Like Gravesite Plain, obtaining this Map Fragment is also a simple task. The first step is to reach Scadu Altus by passing through Castle Ensis.
Upon arrival at the destination, search for the Highroad Cross Site of Grace. Continue in a northeast direction and you will come across the stele containing the Scadu Altus Map Fragment.
Ruins of Rauh
To obtain this Map Fragment, you must first travel to Scadu Altus. However, there is a method to acquire it without encountering any bosses. Simply navigate to the Spiritspring located beneath the Fort of Reprimand.
To begin, make your way to the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in Scadu Altus. Then, continue in a northeastern direction until you come across a concealed cave. Follow the path until you reach the Ancient Ruins base. From there, follow the canyon until you spot the stele near the Temple Town Ruins.
Southern Shore
The Map Fragment can be obtained at the beginning of the game if you are prepared for a lengthy journey. To reach it, you must first travel across the Ellac Bridge and head south. Then, continue along the path until you reach the Ellac River.
As you continue your journey south, you will eventually come across the Cerulean Coast. Once you arrive, you will see a stele located northwest of the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace.
Abyssal Woods
As you explore the Map in Shadow of the Erdtree, you will eventually reach the final area. Your first task is to reach the Shadow Keep. Inside, you must locate a concealed Stone Coffin and enter it.
Upon teleportation, you will arrive at the Castle Watering Hole. From there, continue your journey southward through the Darklight Catacombs until you emerge at the Abyssal Woods.
The stele with the Map Fragment can be found just outside the Abandoned Church in the opening section of Abyssal Woods.
