The game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will have 16 new maps available upon release, although players will only be able to access a limited number of them during the beta testing phase.
The Black Ops 6 beta will be available from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3 for players who have pre-ordered the game on any platform. After this exclusive period, it will open to all players from Sept. 6 to 9.
The test period solely provides players with access to multiplayer, so they will need to wait until the full release to play Zombies and Campaign missions.
Let’s dive straight into what players can anticipate.
Every beta game mode
All the game modes available in the Black Ops 6 beta are listed below.
- In Team Deathmatch, players must work together to eliminate opposing team members and achieve the required score.
- Control: Gain points for your team by capturing and holding up to three zones.
- Hardpoint: Secure and maintain control of the Hardpoint, a shifting zone, in order to score points for your team during the match.
- The playlist features various match formats, including two players versus two players, one player versus one on small, tight maps, and three players versus three players.
- Kill Order: Each team has a high-value target. All kills count, but teams get more points for killing a high-value target. The high-value target gets added armor and their screen pings when an enemy sees them.
Instead of utilizing flags, Domination reintroduces zones. Furthermore, Hardpoint has incorporated numbers to these zones, allowing players to easily identify and strategize for future rotations.
All beta maps
Below is a comprehensive list of all the maps that will be included in the beta.
- Core: Scud, Babylon, Rewind, Skyline, Derelict
- Strike: Gala, Pit, Stakeout
The maps in Core mode are designed for 6v6 matches, while Strike mode offers both 6v6 and 2v2 lobbies. We were given a preview of these new maps during Call of Duty NEXT. In Strike mode, scorestreaks are not available in order to maintain the intensity of close-range battles.
