All New Ultimate Team Features in EA FC 25

The goal of EA FC 25 is to revitalize Ultimate Team by introducing a diverse range of gameplay and quality-of-life improvements.

Despite its popularity as the series’ most beloved mode, Ultimate Team has faced criticism in recent years for a lack of innovative ideas. However, with the upcoming release of EA FC 25, the developers are aiming to address these concerns and bring fresh changes that directly respond to fan feedback.

Without any delay, here are all the current revelations of the new EA FC 25 Ultimate Team features.

EA FC 25: All Changes to Ultimate Team

  • Division Rivals changes
  • SBC Storage
  • Evolution requirements
  • Contracts
  • Gameplay tweaks

Division Rivals Changes in EA FC 25

In EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, the core competitive mode, Division Rivals, will undergo some exciting updates. One of the changes is a decrease in the number of checkpoints, which will help ensure that players are matched with others of similar skill levels.

The purpose of this is to maintain the competitiveness of your matches and lessen the duration of time spent in a Division that does not align with your skill level.

The method for distributing Weekly Rivals rewards has been modified to be based on points rather than reaching a set number of wins. This adjustment results in drawn matches being more valuable, as they will contribute one point to your total for the week.

In addition to this, your initial Division in FC 25 Rivals will be based on your highest Division reached in EA FC 24. This modification guarantees that you will begin in a Division that reflects your level of skill.

SBC Storage

You can store up to 100 items in the Duplicate Storage.

Following years of pleas from fans, the developers have at last incorporated an SBC Storage feature that will house all of the Untradable Duplicate Players acquired when opening packs. This will allow for a maximum of 100 Duplicate items to be stored in the SBC Storage, providing convenient access when completing challenges.

Despite the fact that we are still anticipating its implementation, the new feature is expected to greatly assist players in saving time.

Evolution Requirements

Evolutions, which were first introduced in EA FC 24, provide players with the opportunity to enhance their preferred cards by offering a range of stat boosts and introducing new PlayStyles. This addition was widely embraced by fans, although some raised concerns about the strict prerequisites for most Evolutions.

The developers intend to address these concerns by reducing the requirements and expanding the range of player items that can meet them. They also have plans to introduce additional Evolutions as the game progresses, providing players with more chances to upgrade their team.

Contracts

In an official announcement, it has been confirmed that contracts will no longer be a part of Ultimate Team. This means that players and managers will no longer have to apply these random items. This decision was expected, as Ultimate Team has increasingly provided players with packs, resulting in a surplus of contracts.

Despite this, Contracts are now able to fly off into the sunset and unite with Squad Morale and Player Fitness.

Gameplay Tweaks

Corners will be more customizable in EA FC 25.

The developers have yet to announce any gameplay changes specifically for Ultimate Team. However, the introduction of EA FC 25 will bring about significant alterations to the core experience, which will likely greatly affect UT.

Among the top features is FC IQ, a revolutionary AI-powered tactic upgrade that will provide you with enhanced control over your players’ movements without the ball.

Additionally, the new game feature of Corner Kick Support Assignments will give you the ability to select the main target for set pieces, as well as the players stationed at the near and back posts. This enhanced system will provide greater command over corner kicks and enable you to devise strategic corner routines.

The movement of goalkeepers in EA FC 24 has caused frustration for numerous players. In response, the developers are implementing adjustments to the manual goalkeeper movement mechanics to improve overall gameplay. As a result, goalkeepers will now have a limited range of 1-2 steps in any direction before entering a cooldown phase, preventing any potential abuse of manual movement by players.

During the deep dive schedule for August, we will gain further insight into what EA FC 25 Ultimate Team has to offer. In the meantime, be sure to familiarize yourself with the latest features in Career Mode and the new 5v5 Rush game mode.
