The 2024 Call of Duty League Championship Weekend has come to an end, and two players have now made their mark in COD’s history by earning their first championship titles. Additionally, two players have added a second ring to their collection. Below is a list of all the players and teams who have secured a Champs victory.
Over the years, Champs, the annual event that declares the top Call of Duty team in the world, has undergone numerous changes and variations. However, one constant remains: every player in the CDL has a strong desire to obtain the trophy and their championship rings.
In the history of Call of Duty, there have been 12 world championship events, starting with the 2013 Black Ops 2 tournament where Karma, KiLLa, Parasite, and Mirx established themselves as top CoD players. Looking ahead to 2024, although these players have since retired, a new group of players is now joining the ranks of the elite, as demonstrated by OpTic Texas’ impressive 5-1 victory over the New York Subliners in the grand finals.

All teams to win a Call of Duty World Championship
In the history of COD, there have been two dynasties, however, no team has managed to win consecutive World Championships. A team consisting of ACHES, TeePee, Crimsix, Clayster, and later Karma, formed the initial dynasty in Call of Duty esports, representing CompLexity and Evil Geniuses.
Over the course of two years, the highly decorated group achieved victory in 13 offline tournaments and achieved top-four finishes in 16. After that, OpTic Gaming, led by key players Scump, FormaL, and Crimsix, along with Nadeshot (briefly) and Karma, dominated with 18 offline tournament wins and 28 top-four finishes in the same time period.
Although both dynasties went on dominant runs, they were only able to secure one World Championship each.
This is a breakdown of every World Championship champion, organized by year.

Who misses out?
Despite the fact that a large majority of prominent figures have won a championship at some point, there are only a few noticeable absences from this list.
Despite having the potential for greatness, there are a number of prominent players who have not been able to secure a CoD Champs victory. This includes both retired and current players such as Nadeshot, ZooMaa, and Gunless, who have all been considered top contenders for the title due to their exceptional individual skill and success with their teams.
In addition, there are players such as Ben ‘Bance’ Bance, Tobias ‘CleanX’ Jønsson, and Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt who have each made it to the grand finals of Champs twice, but have yet to secure a victory.
Dashy was widely recognized as one of the most popular names in this section, renowned for his exceptional accuracy in COD history. However, he was able to overcome this reputation and emerge victorious at the 2024 Championships.
The question remains, who will be able to etch their name into the Call of Duty history books in 2025?
