All weapon buffs & nerfs in Apex Legends Season 21: Longbow, Charge Rifle, more

The game of Apex Legends has entered its 21st season, bringing with it a number of modifications to different weapons.

As Apex Legends players enter Season 21, they can look forward to the long-awaited return of Solos and the introduction of a new fighter, Alter. As with any new season, a patch has been released with various changes to weapons and Legends, including buffs and nerfs.

Despite Season 21’s balancing act being on the smaller side, two major changes include the elimination of the Digital Threat optic and the Skullpiercer Hop-Up.

There are a handful of additional alterations worth mentioning. Therefore, here is a comprehensive list of all the weapon buffs and nerfs in Apex Legends Season 21, Upheaval.

All Weapon Changes in Apex Legends Season 21

One major change of the season is the return of the Wingman to the floor in the Care Package. However, its damage has been reduced from 50 to 45. In its stead, the Devotion makes its entrance with increased damage.

As previously stated, the major alteration is the removal of the Digital Threat from the loot pool. However, the Charge Rifle and Longbow have received some enhancements to their recoil.

Weapons and Attachments

The 30-30 Repeater is an impressive weapon.

  • Skullpiercer Hop-Up removed

The Charge Rifle remains the same.

  • ADS recoil improved and stabilized

Care Package (Devotion)

  • NEW Reverse Hipfire: sustained hipfire will tighten accuracy instead of widen
  • Damage increased to 16 (was 15)
  • Magazine size increased to 54 (was 48 at purple)
  • Reserve Ammo: 324
  • Empty reload time significantly reduced

The DMR Longbow.

  • Skullpiercer Hop-Up removed
  • Barrel Stabilizer attachment removed
  • Base recoil significantly improved
  • Projectile gravity reduced
  • ADS in and out time reduced

Triple-Take:

  • Now takes Boosted Loader Hop-Up

The person who helps or supports another person is known as a wingman on the floor.

  • Projectile size reduced to pre-care package values
  • Damage reduced to 45 (was 50)
  • Skullpiercer Elite removed
  • Hipfire accuracy reduced
  • Now takes Boosted Loader Hop-Up
  • No longer takes magazines as an attachment

Hop-Ups refer to modifications or upgrades made to a vehicle, typically for performance enhancement.

  • Skullpiercer removed from the loot pool
  • Boosted Loader added to the loot pool
    • Reloading while near empty will speed up reloading and overload the next magazine with extra rounds

One Digital Threat Optic

  • Removed from loot pool and all locked set weapons
