All Weapons in Hades 2 Listed

Although the initial selection of weapons in Hades 2 may seem limited, each one offers a unique and distinct experience. With their own set of advantages and disadvantages, certain weapons have already proven to be more efficient than others. Below is our comprehensive list of all the weapons available in Hades 2.

All Hades 2 Weapons

As of now, there are five options available for players to experience. Certain choices may be restricted at the start, but you can gradually unlock them. Furthermore, the effectiveness of each weapon will heavily rely on your preferred style of play.

1) The Adventures of Sister Blades

This is the initial weapon that you will unlock. Although it may not have the highest damage output, it is one of the simplest weapons to wield and requires less time to become proficient with. Additionally, its fast-paced style complements most playstyles.

Using Sister Blades in consecutive attacks can activate valuable combos, making it an ideal option for those new to the game. Its reach is limited in Hades 2, meaning you may have to depend on Dodge frequently. Nonetheless, this can be resolved by utilizing suitable boons.

Moonstone Axe

The Moonstone Axe is an incredibly unusual weapon in every sense. Once you have mastered its use, each strike delivers a powerful amount of damage. Successfully executing a dodge and attack move results in a wide-reaching hit, and the weapon also boasts a highly effective blocking mechanism.

Despite the slower attack speed being a major concern with the Moonstone Axe, it can be mitigated to some degree by utilizing boons. The Special and Omega Special moves have the dual benefit of blocking enemy damage and reducing their health.

3) Witch’s Staff

The Witch’s Staff is the initial weapon you are equipped with in the game, and it is a versatile choice. It is the most straightforward weapon to use in Hades 2, without the hassle of unlocking it. When wielded correctly, the Witch’s Staff deals a considerable amount of damage with a decent range.

Regrettably, the DPS does decrease significantly when facing tougher adversaries. The staff may feel inadequate in certain situations unless the Special attack is utilized effectively.

4) Argent Skull

The Argent Skull is a highly damaging weapon with unique abilities. However, unlocking it can be a lengthy process as it requires Glassrock. Additionally, there is a learning curve to using it effectively. Unlike other weapons, the Argent Skull heavily relies on the player’s ability to dodge incoming attacks.

To maximize the effectiveness of the Argent Skull, prioritize builds that enhance your base movement speed and dodge capabilities. Place more emphasis on utilizing its Omega Special attack, which executes a dash and inflicts significant damage to all enemies in a straight line.

5) Umbral Flames

The main difficulty in using the Umbral Flames in Hades 2 is adjusting to its unique playstyle, just like the other four weapons listed. For those who prefer ranged combat, it is the ideal choice. However, due to the prevalence of close-range enemies, relying on a ranged build can be a daunting task.

The Omega Attack is known for its high damage potential, but it also slows down your movement speed while it is being cast. In my opinion, the Umbral Flames is the most challenging weapon to master due to its long-range capabilities. This can be a source of frustration for many players, particularly when the overall gameplay is already difficult to manage.

Please note that additional weapons may be included in future updates.
