Recent Dating Rumors Involving ENHYPEN’s Jungwon and aespa’s Winter

Recently, dating rumors have surfaced surrounding Jungwon from ENHYPEN and Winter from aespa, initially sparked by allegations of them visiting a bar together. The speculation gained momentum, leading fans to discuss the potential relationship on various social media platforms.

In response to these rumors, both artists’ management companies, Belift Lab and SM Entertainment, swiftly dismissed the claims as “completely unfounded.”Furthermore, they indicated possible legal action against those perpetuating the rumors. Notably, SM Entertainment revealed that the person responsible for distributing photos of the alleged outing attempted to sell the images to a media outlet for financial gain.

Less than a day later, new speculations emerged as a post went viral on the Chinese social media platform Douban. The post claimed to present “evidence”supporting the relationship, primarily sourced from self-identified sasaeng fans who alleged they had access to Jungwon and Winter’s phone numbers.

Notably, the post pointed out that both artists’ display names featured characters in the same position on the Korean keyboard—Winter’s using the character ‘ㅇ’ and Jungwon’s employing ‘d’. This supposed coincidence was shared as indicative of a connection between them.

Moreover, Jungwon was speculated to have communicated with Winter during a Prada event using Messenger, allegedly to conceal their communication, avoiding recognition through KakaoTalk’s distinct yellow messaging bubble. Critics pointed out that both Jungwon and Winter had registered Messenger accounts, a detail that sasaengs highlighted as further “evidence”of their relationship.

Additionally, claims surfaced about Jungwon allegedly following Winter on a private Instagram account, which also followed a meme page linked to Winter.

Furthermore, footage surfaced of Jungwon reportedly leaving his dormitory on October 25, 2024, to hail a cab. Allegedly, sasaengs followed the cab and spotted Jungwon exiting near a location affiliated with SM Entertainment, which fueled speculation about his relationship with Winter.

On the same day the Douban post was published, additional footage emerged allegedly showing Jungwon smoking in public, which sparked criticism among fans.

The continuous spread of baseless rumors has raised concerns among ENHYPEN fans, especially as other members, such as Jay, have also been victims of similar dating accusations.
