Alleged set up of Andrew Tate’s Homes by Police

The Tate brothers were the subjects of home invasions in Romania on Wednesday. Andrew Tate has told the media that he believes he is being framed.

On August 21, DIICOT, Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, conducted a human trafficking investigation and searched four homes, including Andrew Tate’s residence in Bucharest.

Tate and his brother Tristan have both denied all of the allegations against them and are currently awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking and rape.

After the raid, it was determined by the Bucharest court that Andrew would be subject to house arrest for a duration of 30 days. Meanwhile, his brother Tristan would be placed under judicial control for 60 days, which would entail regular appearances before authorities, as stated in the court’s official statement.

Andrew claimed that he is being “set up”when speaking out about his house arrest.

The beginning of his speech to the press consisted of him sharing that he had resided in Romania for 10 years and devoted his time to showcasing the country and its “beautiful people”to the world in order to improve its negative image.

Despite my efforts to be cooperative and respectful throughout this process, my house has been raided once again. I am now being accused of having thirty-five victims, but I know for a fact that thirty of those girls have given statements in our defense.

“Thirty of us insist that we have not committed any wrongdoing. Additionally, two of us are the mothers of our children and two have never visited Romania.”

“He argued, “This is a planned manipulation. It is utterly repulsive. Out of those girls, thirty have attested to our innocence. Two of them are the mothers of our children, while two have never even been to Romania.”

“I am not a human trafficker, as is evident. The purposeful creation of these accusations is meant to fabricate the most vile crimes in order to defame our reputation.”

Andrew and Tristan Tate were first arrested in 2022.

In 2022, the brothers and two Romanian women were arrested and initially held in custody. They were eventually released on house arrest and prohibited from leaving Romania.

Following the decision on July 5, they were initially granted permission to travel within the European Union. However, this was later reversed, resulting in their confinement to Romania as they await trial.

According to Romanian law, the Tate brothers may be subject to imprisonment for up to ten years for their involvement in trafficking adults. However, the Tates have refuted any allegations of human trafficking, rape, and sexual exploitation.

Nevertheless, their potential sentence could increase if they are convicted of multiple offenses, especially the rape allegations. In Romania, rape carries a maximum penalty of 18 years in prison.
