Alya and Masachika’s Romantic Comedy Scene in Russian Episode 9: A Hypnotic Twist on Hidden Feelings

Alya’s tendency to conceal her emotions is showcased in the ninth episode of the Russian dubbed version of the popular anime Rom-commy with a Chance of Hypnosis, which was released on August 28, 2024 on Tokyo MX and other networks in Japan. While Masachika was eager to capitalize on their recent triumph over Taniyama, Alya had conflicting ideas.

In contrast, Masha stumbled upon a book about hypnotism, which sparked intriguing changes in the student council members. The ninth episode of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian also showcased Yuki, who took every opportunity to tease her brother without hesitation.

In episode 9 of Russian, Alya is seen hiding her emotions once again. During dinner, Yuki’s grandfather brings up the student congress and questions Taniyama’s absence from the debate, believing it gave more credibility to Masachika’s campaign.

Despite not being as talented as Masachika, Yuki’s grandfather insists that she must do whatever it takes to win the election. Yuki happily agrees and promises to give her best effort. Masachika’s mother expresses concern for Yuki’s health. Later that evening, Yuki finds solace in Ayano’s embrace and feels refreshed.

The storyline in Russian episode 9 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings then transitions to the classroom, where multiple classmates praise Alya for her impressive performance as a member of the student council. However, as they proceed to speak negatively about Taniyama for fleeing the stage, Alya becomes visibly bothered.

Despite not saying anything to them, she leads Masachika to the vacant student council room for a conversation. Masachika can sense that Taniyama’s ridicule is weighing on Alya’s mind. As they talk, Masachika reassures Alya that they are not at fault.

Despite Alya’s belief that their team did not truly win, but rather that Taniyama’s team forfeited, Masachika still asks for her opinion on what they should do. He is hesitant to intervene as he does not see the point in saving Taniyama’s pride, but ultimately agrees to help at Alya’s insistence.

Alya’s heart flutters at Masachika’s response as she gazes into his eyes with romantic intent. In the 9th episode of Russian drama Sometimes Alya Hides Her Feelings, Kenzaki and Chisaki hide under a desk, eavesdropping on Alya and Masachika’s conversation.

Despite realizing it himself, Masachika is hesitant to call them out, thinking it would be awkward. However, when Alya’s loving gaze meets his, he can’t resist and ends up doing it. He can’t help but feel like he’s in a scene from a romantic comedy. As soon as Kenzaki and Chisaki enter the room, Alya’s face turns red with embarrassment and she quickly makes her escape.

The focus of episode 9 of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian shifts to Nonoa, as she engages in casual conversations with her friends. She becomes aware of Masachika’s presence outside the classroom and inquires if he has something significant to discuss.

Nonoa suspects that Masachika is uncomfortable talking to her in front of her friends, so she suggests they find a more private setting. She wonders if Masachika wants to ask her out, and if he does, she is open to the idea. However, Masachika believes Nonoa deserves to date someone who genuinely cares for her.

Despite the girl admitting she had never gone on dates with people she was interested in due to her lack of understanding of love and romance, Masachika decided not to interfere in her personal matters. However, he did offer her advice to not underestimate her worth.

Nonoa is reminded of a moment when Taniyama had once said the exact words to her while reading Masachika’s comments in the ninth episode of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. She then asks Masachika how she can be of assistance and he suggests spreading a rumor with a believable explanation for Taniyama’s sudden departure from the student congress.

Despite Nonoa feeling it was unusual for Masachika to seek her assistance, especially since they were considered “enemies,”she chooses not to delve too deeply into the matter. As Nonoa departs, Masachika becomes aware of Ayano and Yuki hiding beneath the desk. Right at that moment, Alya makes an appearance.

Upon seeing Masachika in the company of Yuki and Ayano, she immediately jumps to the wrong conclusion and hastily leaves the scene. Taking advantage of the situation, Yuki playfully teases her brother with a cliched tale. Meanwhile, Nonoa recalls the memory of Taniyama once slapping her.

Upon returning to her classroom, she fabricates a story to her friends, claiming that Taniyama left the debate due to anger towards her. Nonoa then mentions that Taniyama expressed disapproval of Nonoa’s decision to have plants in the audience.

Alya, who tends to hide her emotions, is featured in episode 9 of Russian where she switches to the classroom. Masachika surprises her by asking if she would like to study together. During their study session, he is surprised when Alya chooses to sit closer to him.

Despite Alya’s desire to be alone with Masachika, the arrival of Yuki Suou and Ayano dampens the mood. As they all chat, Masha joins them and kindly serves tea. While glancing around the room, Masha comes across a book on hypnosis and Masachika explains that it was taken from Chisaki.

Masha begs Alya to use the hypnosis techniques on her, but when Alya declines, Masha turns to Masachika. Much to everyone’s amazement, Masachika effectively puts Masha into a deep sleep using the tactics described in the book. In addition, he also hypnotizes Alya.

With both Masha and Alya under hypnosis, Ayano and Yuki contemplate their next move. Ayano suggests using their trance state to extract their deepest, darkest secrets, while Yuki suggests pushing the girls to be even more uninhibited.

Upon Yuki’s instruction, Masha and Alya boldly face Masachika. Despite the boy’s attempts to reset the hypnosis, he is unsuccessful. Just then, Chisaki appears and effortlessly undoes the effects using her own methods.

Upon awakening, Alya and Masha feel ashamed. The ninth episode of the Russian series, “Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings,”concludes with Chisaki inquiring if Masachika would be interested in undergoing her unique “reset”procedure.
